Police & Thieves update!
Here’s what Police & Thieves have been up to:

‘Police & Thieves are writing new songs for several possible new releases: a song on a Crucial Response comp, a song on an Amendment records comp as well as possibly a re-release of the blizzard sessions
tape as a 7″ with unreleased songs from those recording sessions. Wealso have a new bass player to introduce, it is our friend Dan Horres, ex member of the Richmond, Virginia band Permanent as well as current member of Not Sorry. We will try and hit some spots this summer that we have not been to before, namely the mid west and back down to the south east.’

Things have been really slow here at SDRHQ. Both Pressure and Critical Point are taking a break and nothing much is going on over here I guess. I have checked a really cool band from Buenos Aires, Argentina called Columnas. You should give them a listen if you’re into 90′s Hardcore. Check them out here: http://columnas.bandcamp.com
I will try and update the website more often and make it more like a blog or something. Anyway, time to go for a run.
Stay posi!
D.
Three months is too long without updates so I officially apologize for that. So here’s what’s been going on.
- Toured with Critical Point in November and had an awesome time despite the cold. We went to far away places such as Bulgaria and Serbia. It’s crazy! Thanks to everyone that helped out on that tour. You can check some photos on our Facebook page.
- New shirt design by Javi. It looks great doesn’t it? Order it HERE!

- The Out Of Vogue 7″ on clear vinyl is finally available outside the bundle. You can order it HERE!
- Some Critical Point tour leftovers will be added to the webstore soon.
- Slowly updating the online distro.
Hope to have a new update soon.
Thanks for your time.

Here is what the band has to say about themselves:
“Critical Point is a Vegetarian Straight Edge Hardcore band featuring members and former members of: Pointing Finger, New Winds, Time X, Broken Distance, Pressure & Together.
In 2009 the band recorded a 4 song Demo-Tape later released as a 7″ on Salad Days Records and toured for the first time the same year supporting the Broken Distance Farewell European Tour.
In 2011 Critical Point recorded 6 brand new songs for a new 7″ – Trial & Error OUT NOW on Commitment Records from The Netherlands and they’ve already toured Europe last Easter together with Pressure.
If you are into old NYHC bands such as Judge, Project X, Youth Of Today and Side By Side and would like to help a bunch of Straight Edge dudes reaching their 30s with a D.I.Y. show in your local venue, please let us know!!!”
So if you want to book a show for them just send an e-mail here: impactbookings@gmail.com and check out this website for updates as well: www.impactbookings.blogspot.com
The band is also working on new songs for their next release. They should record in early 2012.
Thanks a lot for your time.

SDR06 – OUT OF VOGUE – ST 7″
I’m proud and excited to announce that SDR06 is going to be the debut EP by none other than Out Of Vogue. For those of you living under a rock or the ones that simply missed it, OOV hail from Sweden and feature members of acts such as Abhinanda, Subject To Change, Eyes Shut and Division of Laura Lee among others. The Scandinavian scene always produced, in my humble opinion, the best Euro Hardcore bands and OOV are no exception, with a sound reminiscent of CIV or Uniform Choice.
The pre-orders will start on August 1st.

Update
It’s been a while since my last update. So the Critical Point / Pressure Tour was awesome. Despite some long drives we all had a really good time. We’d like to thank again all the promoters and all the bands we played with.
I’m also down to the last few copies of SDR05: Pressure – Your Rage EP. The blue version is almost gone and yellow one isn’t far behind. So be quick if you want a copy. I doubt there will be a repress in the future.
Both bands have been kinda laying low since the tour but we should come back in full force shortly.
As for SDR06 there are some possibilities but nothing 100% for now. I’ll keep everyone posted as soon as I know anything.
Thanks for the support.
